FFL Transfers
If you are local to The Gun Shop USA and purchase a firearm from another licensed dealer, we are happy to assist with the FFL transfer.
Transfer Eligibility
- We only accept transfers from licensed FFL dealers.
- We do not accept transfers from private individuals.

Firearms shipped from non-FFL individuals will be refused or returned at the sender’s expense.
Shipment & Pickup Process
If you have a firearm being shipped to us and receive tracking information showing it has been delivered, please wait until we contact you before coming to the store.
We receive a high volume of packages daily. Firearms must be:
- Received
- Unpacked
- Verified
- Logged into our system
This process may take up to one business day after delivery, depending on volume.
You will be contacted by phone or email as soon as your firearm is ready for pickup.
If You Have Not Heard From Us
If you have not been contacted within two business days of the firearm being marked as delivered, please visit the store at that time. In some cases, our attempts to contact you may have failed due to incorrect or missing contact information.
Important Notes
- Do not come to the store immediately upon seeing a “delivered” tracking notice.
- Firearms cannot be transferred until they are fully processed and entered into our system.
- All federal, state, and local laws apply at the time of transfer.
Transfer Fees
Non-NFA: $25 plus $10 for each additional firearm.
NFA: $75 per item.
